pale comb

One of our brahmas isn't looking the same as the other one. For one, she is smaller. Also her comb,little that it is. is pale red. Do you think she is sick? She's moving around and eating and drinking.

If she is acting completely normal, eating, drinking, laying (if she is laying age), running around being her old self, then I would say there is nothing wrong with her. I have Black Australorp pullet of 7 months that has always had a very pale comb, while the others have bright red combs. My girl is healthy in every other way, but her comb is a pale pink.

Just watch your girl for any signs of things, otherwise she is probably ok.
