Pale comb??

I was told right before hen start laying their combs will turn bright red... It did and now my hen has a very pale comb? She has been laying for almost 2 months, I get 1 or 2 eggs from her daily... She does not act sick, and eats drinks normally but it's strange to see. Pink comb instead of the bright red one she had?

Laying eggs is an exhausting task for a hen, it also uses color pigments which might be why your hen's comb is pink instead of red. Well, that makes sense... Her eggs are getting darker too.. Thanks I was paranoid she was sick. thanks for the idea

My hen went broody these past 3 days, perhaps that's why she's pale??

Being broody can make a hen's comb paler too.
