Hi there,

You are all so kind and helpful, so thank you in advance. I recently posted about a hen, about 3.5 years old, who was a doughy crop issue that was persistent. Long story short, she overcame it and she's had a nice, empty crop 9 out of 10 of the last 10 days. (One day in the middle she had a small mouth of something in it in the morning but it passed) While she lost some weight during all that, she has since maintained.
She is no longer on any meds although I do add acv now daily to their water, as they seem to love it. My concern? Her face seems pale to me and definitely more pale than the others. I don't see any notes, I dewormed, just in case. Am I missing something?
Should I add vitamins to their water? What might this be? Is it definitely a sign on an issue?

I see new tail feathers growing in, so maybe due to molt as to why she's pale.

She's at the very end of a LONG molt, with just a bit of the tail feathers left. Would that really impact her color?
Yep. Faces, combs, and wattles look lighter whenever they are not laying. They will look redder when they are about to start laying again. It's a hormonal thing, I think.

Ty, that's reassuring.
