Hmmm, Can't say I'm all natural, but I can't wrap my head around thinking that chemicals are a better alternative.

Natural is a wide concept. Permethrin is derived from Chysanthemums and Ivermectin from a bacterium - Streptomyces avermitilis.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of stuff that works.
Anyone used fenbendzole (Safe Guard for goats) on chickens? How much to use how often, etc. I was thinking I'd squirt some in their mouths and be done with the whole mess. I'm not even sure they have worms!
I went to TSC to get albendazole and they didn't have any. So, the clerk led me to Wazine or panacur or Safe Guard. What's the best to use and how?
AAGGHHHHH - I'm so stinking confused!
. Hi there S&P I have been dealing with the same symptoms. I really would like to stick to home remedies also. Could you please provide me with your recipe, 16 hens ready to start feeling better. Thanks RonneeThanks, they are being treated with a natural wormer right now ( paste of Cayenne, ACV, and raw garlic ) I only treat with chemicals when absolutely necessary.

How much wet feed? 2-3 tablespoons of cayenne might make a couple gallons of my barbecue sauce and it would still be too hot for some people. And one clove of garlic doesn't sound like much compared to the cayenne.....It's just one clove of garlic, two-three tablespoons of Cayenne, and equal amount of ACV. I mix that into a paste and mix it with my wet feed,........

We use only dry feed and they get whatever they can scratch up from their very large corral, but I might try this if it's practical.
