Pallet Coop For Six

[Wilson Chickens]

My husband and I are in the process of gathering up materials to start building our pallet coop. I have 6 Golden Comet pullets (we'll see if they all are hens or if a rooster slipped in somewhere . I'm not sure how big I need the coop. How much space would 6 chickens need? I've looked up pallet coops and have looked at other peoples' work but I'm still thinking about what to add to the design for my chickens. If anyone has any ideas please don't hesitate to let your opinions flow. Thank you.

Hi there! New to this forum & to raising chickens. From all of my research you need a minimum of 3sqft per chicken. For you that would be 18sqft. Side note: my husbands name is wilson! N we too are building a coop out of pallets! Good luck!
