I have decided to build a Coop made of pallets & extra wood. Ive been trying to find some plans, but havent really come across much. I need to house about 11 White Rock hens along with a few other assorted breeds. I just need a good plan. Simple - But good ! Im trying to figure out where to put the nesting boxes & the perch & the window.. Any help is appreciated !!!!

Here is what we did. Took two pallets filled in the gaps overlapped the top one and screwed that into the bottom pallet where the cross boards were.

We built up the front side so we would have snow and rain runoff and use that also for ventilation. The sides are vents too.

Our perches are in the three corners and the nest box is in the front hanging on the wall.

He built the nest boxes on the outside. The whole front opens The doors are old levelor doors we had laying around. it measures 4x 4 x 8 plus the nest boxes

Thanks guys !! I have a good idea of how to go about it, but where do I put the nesting boxes & the roosts ? do I put the boxes below or higher than the roosts ?
