Might go back to my pallet upcycling business again.I see a need for things made from repurposed pallet wood.

I made a bunch of pens for my Silkies outside in the pole barn and they all have a box to sleep in that is made from pallet wood.
I'll have to get a picture.

all of my coops for my silkies/cochins, oeg/bbroeg/phoenix bantams, smaller flock, and large flock coops are all made from pallets.the biggest coop is 12'x24' widex7' high at the apex.and their coop is 8'x8'x7'high.
Im just going to make some pallet stuff like birhouses, shelves, those whimsicle windy thingies, even hummingbird stems.also have new ideas for other pallet/woodsy projects.I asked DW togo buy me a scroll saw and a bench saw for starters.

Just mite make this my OWN job. wow....my own business.I have ideas of whimsicle birdhouses galore.

Any tips on taking pallets apart? My original plan was to build my coop with pallet wood but I could not for the life of me get the nails to give up. The wood actually started to splinter before any nails were loosened. The ones I got were from a big auto parts distributor, does that mean they were maybe just reinforced or something? Any tips would be appreciated.

get a five pound hammer.it will pop those pesky boards out with no problem.Or find a diffrent supplier of free pallets.our coops are pine pallets.
