Sorry a head of time if this is in the wrong place.
Would palo verde wood chips be harmful to my chickens in their run?
Currently doing some yard maintenance, and my chicken run gets muddy during rain. I figured I could kill 2 birds with one stone and use the palo verde tree chips from the trimmed trees in their run to help off set the wet mud. I have tried googling, but all I could find was that the beans/seeds from the palo verde trees are safe for chickens to eat.
Might I add that I am in the Southwest if that helps anything.
Thanks in advance.
