Hey everyone!
Last night I went and picked up two small roos. It was only supposed to be one, but, you know, chicken math.

Anyway, what the HECK could these be? Honestly never seen a mix like this.

They are small, not banty size, more Cochin. I know they are mixed. What kind of bird is colored like this? I'd appreciate the help!

Hello!

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what kind of mix that is, but some clues may lie in the type of comb and barring of the feathers.

I’m assuming based on the title you gave this thread that you have a hen named Pancake? And the roosters will be her husbands 🤣

It reminds me of a dominique because of the comb and barred feathers. Definitely a cross, because dominiques don't have green feathers and are bigger. Are those feathered feet?

Yes lol. Pancake is my tiny hen. My only one that seems to go broody and she is SPICY. I'm hoping to get some smaller birds from these guys.

Yeah they are definitely a cross, but I didn't see what other birds she had so I couldn't get an idea. Yes, they do have feathered feet. She mentioned they could potentially be barred rock, but the coloring is throwing me off.
