Hi all- very new chicken owner here. My girls are about 10 months old. Today when I went out to check on them, my girl Pickles was laying down in the corner of the run panting. She didn’t move as I picked her up to check her over. My girls let me hold them but she wasn't moving at all. Until I know what is going on, I brought her into the garage in a makeshift plastic tub coop. I don’t know if this was right or not.
The other two are acting very normal and look fine. So Pickles is panting but I don’t see any discharge, her eyes look fine and she is alert. I don’t see any injuries to her feet and she did get up and walk fine when I gave treats to the other two. I think her comb looks okay- reddish and not pale and sticking up. I did hold her up to water and she took some long drinks. I took a look at her vent and it doesn’t look crusty or anything. I don’t see signs of any bugs or mites.
What is my next step?
