Exactly, especially if your house has AC.
Usually we hear/talk about acclimating chicks form warmer interior temps to colder outdoor temps, but goes the other way too.
They'll adjust.
Good on the cool, not cold, dunk.
Watch the ice water too....they can gorge on it.
I have seen a chicken with an 'ice cream headache'.... it was kind of funny.
Now I just put out a large shallow pan of ice cubes and they can sit in it, walk in it and sip from the water as it melts, but not get too much at once.
I put some ice in the waterers to cool it in the late afternoon.
