Panting?

Yeah, she doesn't look right. She's breathing hard, and it seems like the panting could be from pain.

It’s so weird cause she was acting perfectly normal this morning and yesterday I checked her over just a normal health check and I couldn’t find any physical ailments , after opening my window for a while she seemed to stop panting, but it would be weird for her to be so hot at only 75. I opened her mouth and looked for extra saliva in case it was something to do with respiratory, but she overall looks healthy besides just sitting outside of the nesting box.

Sometimes they pant before they lay an egg. When was the last time she laid an egg?

You know what that would explain her laying out outside of the nesting box too she didn’t lay an egg yet this morning. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier.

Hey, don't feel bad! This is how it's supposed to work! You reached out, we watched your video, and thought about it. My first thought was that the painting was from pain. My revised thought is that she's going to lay. Anyway, it was good for me to work through this with you, so thank you for starting the thread!
