Paper thin egg, free ranging, moving ceramic eggs? So many questions please help!

"hen herb laying mix" I'm sorry, I just re-read this one. Is this a nesting material? If so, disregard the hay or straw suggestion I made. I thought it was a fancy herbal food...Either way, can you tell me more?
