My husband looked in when the little Serama eggs were hatching, and said, Oh, it looks so hard in there.

I was wondering if I could put a paper towel on the wire at the bottom of the incubator to make it softer for them when they pop out of the egg?

Assuming any do. I am mainly killing them.

I use paper towels & cloths in mine, both for covering waterfowl eggs & for a soft place for hatching..never had a problem
