Parakeets in love?

Hi, I have 2 budgies or parakeets that r in the same cage together and kiss (really just grabbing eachother's beaks and grooming eachother) all the time. I was wondering if this was normal or if they r going to mate and I need to get a nesting box. Yes they r male and female, and a small side note, I've noticed that their chirps sound much more complicated almost like the sound a dolphin would make. Thx for any help

Yes it normal parakeet behavior. They would need a nest box but.....before you do, please do some research about raising baby parakeets.
It is not as easy as it sounds. There are many, many things to consider first. They need a certain size nest box, a large enough cage and really healthy feed. If they are pets.....they most likely would not be while raising a clutch. If you are not certain you can meet all their needs before raising young, just let them be sweethearts.

They are bonded does not mean they need a nestbox adding one will make things harder you cant just add a box and expect money to flow in like most people seem to think its more complicated then that. Just because they are a pair does not mean they need to be bred.
