I agree...I keep my waterer and feeder under the poop boards. It keeps them clean and overall allows more floor space for the chickens when they decide to stay in for the day. I used to have a poop pit when I had chickens as a kid and cleaning them was quite a job. I'm so glad I learned about poop boards here on BYC...sooooo much easier to maintain with a little daily scraping. The coop is cleaner and fresher smelling overall and alot of ammonia and moisture is removed each time they are cleaned off.....I only have to do a complete cleanout a couple times a year.
