a friend of mine gave me her 4-5 month old chicken. All the others that were purchased with this one dropped dead, except for this one and another one. She claimed her rooster attacked these two girls. One was walking hunched and the other limping. The next day this hen couldn't walk. A few days later the hunched one died but this one was no worse. The chickens first presented on Sunday. This girl was brought to me this morning. She has both legs straight out behind her and scoots around for food and water. Would Marek's present that quickly? Could it be Marek's and would you suggest euthanizing before she can contaminate my hospital room any more than she already has? (There are no other chickens in the hospital room at the moment.) thanks in advance!
