paramyxovirus in my duck - feeding help please

This morning I went to let my duck out and found her sitting on her bum with her legs out, breathing through her mouth and a little nasal discharge. She couldn't seem to stand. I took her straight to the vets and he suspects the above disease. She is on antibiotics. I have added a tonic to her water and am offering it to her regularly but she isn't eating. Can I syringe feed her anything, maybe baby food. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, get her to eat. Find something, anything that she will eat. Wet bread, hard boiled egg yolk, and as you mentioned, even baby food. Doesn't matter what it is, just enough to keep her alive. Use a syringe if you have to. Good luck with your baby.
