Parasite control & Preventive plans

I've heard of people mixing it with water and then with crumbles. I have seen the dosage of a BB sized piece on the beak of the bird. Fenbendazole has a rather good safety margin.

I agree about dosing individually. I use that time to examine them thoroughly; you can never do that enough. It's also good to mark it on the calendar, keep a journal, note who's lighter weight, etc.

If you can do it, dosing individually is always better.

Fenbendazole, SafeGuard, aka Panacur can be purchased online at JeffersPet.com...I buy the liquid goat formula and dose individually.

I saw the goat kind today, we have a goat... I just deworm her with the equine kind though, lol.

Has anyone considered using Strongid-T?

I think the last thing I read, pyrantel pamoate wasn't very tremendously effective in poultry tests. There are just more safe and effective wormers even over the counter, so I don't think it gets much consideration.
