One of my hens has been broody lately and when I picked her up out of the nest box she had not laid an egg. After being outside a few minutes she dropped a big poop the size of a jumbo egg. I immediately noticed a parasite in the poop. The poop was different colors including an unusual white color which reminds me of the egg white when you fry eggs. We had been feeding them pumpkins and pumpkin seeds I don’t know if she was eating them at all but they got tired of eating pumpkin. I put more DE and Cayenne pepper in their food to hopefully kill any more parasites but I wonder if that jumbo side poop and that white part was an egg without a shell. Any suggestions

DE doesn't deworm birds, nor does it rid them of mites/lice either.

The white cap, that's seen on chicken poop is urates, which is normal. It's a solid form of urine.

Can you get pictures of the Parasite, or a picture if the next one of possible?
Pictures are always helpful in the situations.

Many people use Valbazen 1/2 ml given orally, and repeated in 10 days to worm chickens. Some also use SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer or horse paste, and dosage is 1/4 ml per pound of weight given orally for 5 consecutive days. With either of the liquids, they must be shaken well with each dose, and a syringe without the needle can be used to give it.

Could it have been a maggot? Pictures can help. Can you take some fresh droppings to your vet to get a fecal float test? Here are some good links to look at to see if what you saw looks like a worm:

No I didn’t take any pictures it was a worm about the diameter of a pin 2 to 3 inches long
