Parasite in duck eggs

That’s great news. Knowing he is in the correct end is a huge worry gone.
Both of us will have a lockdown baby on the same day !!
I have high hopes for both of us and our little ones

I think mine may have internal pipped this afternoon. Kinda looks like the beak in the air call

nice!!
That's how mine looked, but I think with mine the beak was just pushed up against the membrane rather than through, still looks like that, but the duckling is doing well, moving about a little, so I'm listening out for peeping and then I'll know he's through.
It's so cool that ours are going through the same stages!!

It really is
Mine you can see is breathing so it’s through but don’t see any pips as of yet
This egg is small and I worry it won’t have room to move to external pip. I may make a safety hole when I add the other egg this morning
I’ll get the humidity up in that room first

Nice! I'm hoping mines through as well but I havent heard any peeping yet- have you?
I think they'll have enough room, smaller egg smaller chick? Of course I could be wrong. A safety hole definitely won't hurt!

When I added water I did a quick check and yes the little one was peeping and tapping so I have decided not to make a safety hole yet
It’s trying on its own for now. I figured cleaning my house from top to bottom maybe skipping the mop and doing it by hand will keep me from watching the incubator non stop lol
Having a mixed breed it’s like a kinder surprise of what they will look like
I decided to record by two ducks last night quacking so I can play it for the baby to help encourage it
You will also get a surprise as you don’t know the parents. That’s so exciting

I'm fairly sure mine are Ayslebury cross pekin, the adult birds at the egg farm are white, so I'm expecting yellow ducklings! But we'll see! Mine hasn't peeped yet, but it did look like yours, so perhaps just a quieter duckling- either way the baby looks to be doing okay and the eggs are going into lockdown in about an hour or so!! I'm also trying to find things to distract myself with

Hubby has hatched thousands of chicks when he was younger but he isn’t home to keep me calm. Won’t be home till Thursday by then I should have 2 out

on lockdown! Did a final candle to mark the air cells and now they're in, going to bump the humidity up a little slower than usual, for the sake of the younger egg, but still increasing it ready for the first pip....
Upon candling, both ducklings were moving and doing great, and in my inexperienced opinion I think I have an internal pip!
The beak is very clear and I cant see the membrane above it anymore, its in a slightly different spot to where I thought I first saw the beak, but was clearly there! I thought I may have heard some quiet sounds too, but I'm not certain.
Am hoping to hear some peeps or see an external pip soon
