well today ive seen a bug on two of my pigeons!!!! they looked like flys with wings and scattered all over their feathers!!! what are these bugs and can they arem human such as biting and getting on me? would they hurt the pigeon? and what type of medacine whould get rid of them!! i get really grossed out when i see them and also i get chilles

I don't know what bug that is, but any bugs on your birds are not acceptable. Dust them with Sevins Dust, that should work...Be careful with that stuff. You could also get some Ivomectin Cattle Wormer and it works if you just put a few drops on the base of the neck. Or us eit internally and control both types of parasites.

get some adams flea and tick for dogs comes in a spray bottle one squirt under each wing and around the vent under the tail pigeon fly what they have the spray will take care mites and lice also alot of pigeon and chicken people use it at the shows and after

i think its called a pigeon louse fly!!! help now there is 5 of those

Did you do anything mentioned above?

Completely clean out the pen, then dust/spray all around in there too, make sure to get the cracks and crevices real good. Make sure things stay dry.

yes thats what i did i cleaned the loft and in a bout 3 days we re going to the store to find it
