I've been looking into the different feeds available and I noticed a year or so back Cargill had a recall on a some of their poultry feed. They make Purina, Nutrena, Agway, DuMor, and a few others but I see those brands mentioned often when looking for recommendations. My other concern is that they're also the company responsible for many (all?) of the salmonella recalls on beef and (I think) turkey in the US. Any thoughts? I'm still trying to decide what this means for me so any input would be helpful. I don't quite understand how much having the same parent company affects the end product either because presumably they began as separate entities....
