I wanted to hatch some silver laced wyandottes. I know some one who has some but a lot of them have a bunch of feathers picked off their back and are not in the best shape. Would you hatch eggs from these parents? Will the chicks not be healthy?

Is it just the hens? Often rough roosters are the cause for the baldness. If they seem healthy in every other aspect I would do it. Do you know what the girls look like with all their feathers?
