partridge and partridge make?

I have a partridge showgirl rooster and two partridge silkie hens. I think the color is awful lol. If I mix partridge and partridge will I be forever doomed with the same color?

I think so, unless there are modifiers hiding below the surface and not expressing right now. I am not sure but I think the locus the Partridge is based on could also be a factor. Check with SonoranSilkies or Henk69 or one of the other genetics experts.
