How many Quail eggs did you get today?

Pics
I have 4 layers in one cage and 10 in another. Yesterday I got 2+4 eggs and was disappointed, thinking they might be stop laying because of the reduced daylight.
Today morning I found 1+3 eggs (which is odd as they never lay eggs in the mornings) and evening when I came from work I found 4+12 eggs. That makes 15 eggs in a day from 10 layers. I suspect someone stole the eggs and started to feel guilty and then put them back. There's no other logical explanation. Really need to install cameras there

How curious. Perhaps the eggs were hidden? I'm doing an experiment to see if my broody quail will sit on her eggs if I leave them alone.
On the first day there was one egg in the box. 2 eggs on day 2. Zero eggs on day 3. Today (day 4) I lift the nest lid to see 3 eggs! I don't know why they were buried and then reappeared but perhaps that's what happened with your eggs.

I have been getting 8-9 eggs/day from 10 hens, mostly 8.
This has been consistent for a while.
I have another pen of young hens that laid one egg this week, they are six weeks old.

Last night I got 3 good sized quail eggs.
I'm doing a broody experiment and found this lovely lady sat on the eggs inside the nest box (that I don't collect) last night. She was sat on them for 20 minutes whilst I was in the coop.

I came out this morning and found her inside the box. I've no idea how many eggs are in the box (bc she was sitting on them) or how long she plans to sit there. She hasn't come out for food or water yet. I found one egg this morning and expect 2-3 more this evening.
Below is a picture of Phillippa II last night.
