My Partridge Bantam Rooster has fathered 2 Barred Rock/Partridge hens, and believe you me, these hens are beautiful!!! They are huge, they did not inherit the bantam gene, got the feathers on their feet and have that bluish/black feather streaked into the white spotted featherings Barred Rocks have, and get this, their faces are almost a whitish color with a splash of black. If I knew how to post pics, I would get some pics of them and post them on here! They are awesome looking hens!
That would be sex linked cross. IF your offspring are barred the offspring would be males. Sounds like the non small gene is dominant or incompletely dominant & possibly sex linked. Males being almost normal size.
