Partridge Cochin? 8 weeks old

This 8wo “teenager” is the most beautiful display of browns, creams, purple undertone, and iridescent.

I got it as a chick thinking i was getting Brahma x JG. Comb isn’t single like Cochin, heavily feathered feet, eyes are green bordering yellow.

Any ideas?

Cochins are much more heavily feathered. You also know they have single combs. They also have a completely different shape overall. I would just call him a barnyard mix.

Definitely not a cochin. He looks like a mix. Very handsome though!

He could easily be a Brahma/Jersey Giant cross. Very likely that the Brahma part is right, anyway.

He's a mutt. I would think JG x Brahma wouldn't be as scrawny as him because both breeds have large bodies. He is young though
