I have just been given a small grey tame English partridge and I am trying to find out any information I can about how to look after her. Google isn’t helping!

I keep miniature Bantum silkies and Bantum Peking chickens and I was hoping to put her in with them as she seems to be able to stand up for herself when eating with the Bantum Peking she came with.

Since we got her she sneezes quite a bit and sleeps a lot. No runny nose or any other symptoms. I wondered if this maybe the shavings as I have her in a dog crate at the moment in quarantine just in case. Or is this a partridge trait?

She looks quite old with just two tail feathers that look a bit scratty.

Do partridges sleep a lot in general and does anyone have any tips or advice?

Gamebirds should not be kept with chickens. Chickens carry diseases that they can tolerate but will kill gamebirds. Eventhough, it was with other chickens, it's just a ticking time bomb, and from what you described, I'd say, it already has caught something from them, possibly Infectious Coryza! I would start it on Erythomycin, ASAP. It can be administered in their drinking water.
Also, chicken feed is usually not high enough in protein for gamebirds. At least 24% protein feed should be fed to gamebirds.
Other than that, they can withstand cold weather as long as there's no drafts or wet conditions imposed upon them in their enclosure. HTH

Thank you for your reply and much appreciated. We have different food for the partridge and I have some solution that I have added to the water so we will see how she goes x
