Partridge Silkie

I've posted a couple. Opinions were pretty split. But mine seems to not have quite the right comb for a silkie. It doesn't look walnut to me. I got him or her from Rural King, so Hoover's Hatchery. But I'm wondering if it's possible the bird is mixed or if that's just a hatchery quality thing. It's got 5 toes on each foot. It's got black skin and legs. But it appears to have some more smooth looking feathers on the wings. It's got me stumped for sure.

Hoover unfortunately isn't known for high quality birds so nonstandard birds wouldn't surprise me

I figure since I don't plan to show or breed from him or her, it isn't a big deal. It's a friendly bird.
