Partridge to what?

I have 1 partridge silkie and a few whites and splash,i was wondering what other color i should put it withnext season? the whites or the splash? what colors would i get by breeding to one of them? Thanks

White X non-white is unpredictable; every white bird can be different. Partridge X splash will give blue partridge, probably with poor pattern.

Thanks Sonoran i'm still learning this breeding thing,i picked up two really nice sq white silkie pairs and six real nice sq bantam cochins today from a guy that breeds for showing, do you think i would be better off breeding the partridge to the white? i don't think i would be able to find another partridge around here,or should i try to find a black and put it with that?or should i just not use it? Is the partridge a hen or cock? I assume you have whites in both genders?

You can always try it and see what you get; worst case scenario is you learn some of the genes that white carries.
