Pasadena Farming

Hi all,
We're a retired couple in Pasadena, California with a large yard, good size vegetable garden and a pretty good space for chickens under an Avacado tree which provides afternoon shade. Jumping in with five chicks but still have to make the run and coop.

I was going to start them in a pre made coop but decided it was too small so after much research and a few questions on this site, I'll be building the coop. Looking forward to sharing this new adventure with this community.

Thanks for the welcome. Looks like sharing pictures is going to be important on this site. All we've got right now is a patch of ground but we're moving forward. Chicks arriving Friday!
