My mom grew cucumbers in pots last year and the cucumbers didn't grow big but they were a good pickling size I guess .

Maybe I'll try doing my cucumbers that way. I want to do pickles and salsa this year for canning.

I've done container garden cucumbers for a couple years and they seemed to do well. Patio snacker and pickle bush where the more compact varieties I chose. I used them last year in the regular garden but like them because they produce good crop with a smaller footprint.

Thinking I'm going to give containered carrots a try. In ground methods haven't done too well.

Thanks for sharing the ones you do! I wanted to do a bush cucumber because it would be easier than a climber
