I have a female mallard would they be ok to breed together?

Is the mallard a regular sized duck or a call duck? I dont see why they wouldnt breed, but if the mallard is bigger than him, it might be a bit difficult...

She is small we saved her from crows when she was a duckling. Her mother was just a reg. wild mallard. She lives with my young chickens right now I'd love for her to have a male companion. I just looked up where Yelm is and it's very far from me lol I'm in Everett. I was thinking it was north from me.
