Pasty bumb on full grown

My 3 year old brahma always seems to have poo stuck to her down feathers every time she poops. Also her vent keeps contacting. I wondered if she an egg stuck but I didn't feel anything but poo. She had a good poo after I washed her feathers but this isn't the first time I've had to do this. It's this normal?

hmmm not sure. I know sometimes their feathers are too long and can get in the way. you can trim a bit of the downy feathers off but this looks like its like all the way up. Poor gal. Sorry im not too helpful lol

Better to trim feathers(to about 1/2" from skin) that hold poop instead of bathing.
