My pullet had pasty butt so I gave her a bath and noticed some swelling underneath! Is this bad?

Does she walk like a penguin?? Is her back end low to the ground? Does she seem lethargic and uncomfortable?
You may want to do a search on 'internal layers' or egg peritonitis. I hope that is not what she has.
