pasty butt problem

This is what I was afraid of, this looks like her naval is also prolapsed. Keep treating her, but I think the ending may be bad.

Her is how my chick went, she seemed ok day 1 but slow and didn’t move much, was eating a little and trying to drink, we noticed her vent issue first bad pasty butt and she couldn’t poop, so we soaked her and cleaned her a lot, so she could poop, this was good till about day 6 old, the we found her one moment kinda laying on her side, we brought her out and had to force feed water, she kinda peeped up for about 24 hours, I checked on her one night around 3am she was standing at the water bowl drinking, I thought ok we made a corner she is doing ok, I found her dead at 7am..

Blow drying is good. What is the temp in the brooder? I think 80° to 85°F is about right for 2-week old chicks. Overheating can lead to pasty butts because they can dehydrate. I agree, eliminate the ACV and provide plain water. In a separate waterer you can also offer probiotics. Don't force water down the throat, it is very easy to get it down the wrong hole and aspirate them. If it won't drink, put a drop on your finger and touch it to the crease at the side of the beak, being careful not to get it in the nostrils. If it shakes its head, stop. Or you can dip the tip of the beak in the water.

Yikes?! Really? What is going to happen 💔 or rather I should ask what could happen

Unfortunately my chicks didn’t, she made it to about day 6 before she gave up. She had more issues then just a vent, that’s why I asked about her naval, mine had a prolapsed naval also.
Oh I’m so bummed and heartbroken. She is seriously my most loving little chick. And we already lost one of our other the first night due to pasty butt

New update her pronated butt is back and it’s bleeding 😭 what do I do to help her
I just had this same problem with a blue splash cochin bantam and two lavender orpingtons. When I went to pick up my chicks I ordered the handler grabbed the two lavenders and ripped their droppings off their butts. One of them tore at the vent and we had some serious pasty butt issues every single day for almost three weeks as they had scabs and one had a prolapsed vent with a tear. The poor guy cried sometimes when he released his droppings. What worked for me was a warm bath soak every day of plain water, gently using a q-tip to help with any sticky poop and then drying off with the blow dryer or in a towel close to our brooder light. A lot of times they fell asleep during the bath and in my towel. The one with the prolapsed vent I did put a dab of antibiotic cream on and he healed pretty quickly. I did trim the down under the vent on one of my cockerels and this seemed to help with less droppings sticking to his bottom. I also gave my chicks some mash for food and put probiotics in their water for a few days. The one cockerel got so used to the routine that he now greets me everytime I come in the coop and jumps right in my hand for some petting. He is completely fine now but it did take a couple weeks to heal from when I brought him home. Good luck and hope everything works out for you.

Good news is it looks like her umbilical cord fell off last night.
bad news is, what’s hanging from her vent I’m not sure if it’s prolonged more of if that’s poop. I stuck her bottom under warmrunning water and I didn’t want to irritate it too much so left that part there just in case
