Hi,
I just received my first chickens today - a box of 16 day-old chicks from McMurray's. All of them were alive (yay!), and they all seem healthy: they're all eating, drinking, running around, chirping, and pooping up a storm. However, one of them did have a pasty butt when I first took them out of their travel box. I cleaned it off and have seen her eating, drinking, and pooping since then. However, she seems to spend more time under the Brinsea heater than the other chicks, and her butt is still poopy. Given that I've seen her eat, drink, and poop, should I not worry about it, or just keep an eye on her? And if I should keep an eye on her, is there anything particular I should look for? Any advice would be appreciated!
