Just wanted to let everyone know that we have had great success with PURE cod liver oil ( first state vet ) regarding pasty butt in shipped chicks. I have had 3 shipments. The only ones that even developed a sealed vent were 4 silkies out of ten silkies. The majority of the chicks (total of 96) never had anything stuck to their fuzz. I placed a few drops in their water for the firsr 2-3 days.
