I found some chicken feed at the local feed supply. It’s called Patobo. It's formulated for the local feed supply, but very similar to something called "Caliente" - is what I'm told. Ingredients looked okay.... Anyone have insight? This might be for “special roosters” that are in abundance in Hawaii. Is this okay for my growing 18wk old pullets and cockerels?

My gut says it may be a locally produced/sourced feed. Only thing that comes up on a computer search is this thread. :lau Any possibility of asking local fanciers about this feed ?

I contacted someone that knows people who're using it, who tells me it's about 18% protein, high in nutrients and the birds love it. It does have whole corn, oats and barley, peas, BOSS and other "stuff"? Pellet stuff... balls of stuff. I soaked it for a couple of days to make the corn softer, mainly. They seem to like it.
