Yes I am new to this world and doing pretty good. Started with 8 chicks in April. Now have 4. Chicken hawk got 2, neighbors dog got one and the other one drowned. Have 2 hens and 2 roosters. One is a gimp and is not doing much. Rooster protects hens and both hens laying. Was trying to get hatchlings but they aren't going broody. In August got another dozen pullets .

You definitely need to grab more hens if you plan on keeping both roosters!
