Hey Beth. I'm in southern md too and was looking at the same coop. I have three hens already and 5 more chicks that will have to go out in a few months. Her is what you should know, if you plan to put *any* food inside, the local squirrels will destroy that wood. I have a coop with a similar run and ended up removing it because the squirrels kept chewing through the wood. Now, I just get up at dawn and let them out to free range and lock them up at night. If you can free range most of the time and put no food in it, it will work for a few years but you will want to put extra wood protection on it. A shed with improvements would probably last longer and be cheaper. :-/
