What are Arkansas Blues?? Did a google search and didn't come up with much. In fact, the only thing I found linked right back to BYC LOL

See the pictures in the post above, and my avatar. The reason that everything linked back here is because this is a breed that was distributed from the University of Arkansas to only a very limited number of people. We have found 6 or 7 breeders that have these. They were developed from a commercial Leghorn and Araucana. They are typical blue genetics and blue egg layer. You will get blue/black/splash. There is an entire thread devoted to these here on BYC about Blue Egg Layers from University of Arkansas. Bottom line is it is a brand new breed. It isn't a hybrid because it breeds true.
