I would love to have room for turkeys too. It's hard keeping a somewhat narrow focus!

I have 6 acres and plenty of barn space but they was meanies! They were so sweet for so long and then after she started laying eggs and him mating...NOPE had to go;( I did love watching her play with my call ducks in their pools...

Wow.. 6 acres would be so nice.. We have two acres. I have little patience for meanies either. They wouldn't last long around here. I'd also love to have some ducks but DH doesn't even want to hear about that. It might even be a zoning issue, but I haven't pushed the issue. He's been so supportive of the chooks that I don't want to push my luck.

Me either. My family cattle farms. We have 1600 combined for the farm. Now that I have moved closer to town (only 25 miles now) we downsized and I feel like I'm in prison. I can actually see 2 houses from mine now.....

Yeah, I know what you mean, we are trying to buy more to are south and east, we can see some houses, but with the timber across the road and on the east we cannot see them unless we look for them, and not too bad, they are good neighbors!
