Oh Lord only I can screw something up so very successfully. I just mean the AMS! The Marans are perfectly fine as are others I offered LOL the Marans ARE sorted by variety with bcms and blues seperated and eggs are marked accordingly.What you said makes sense and furthermore probably NEEDS to be done..for BOTH projects...did I sound rude? I hope not I never meant to...UTOH the silkies are NOT seperated by color either...kinda like a box of chocolates ??? I am so sorry I have the utmost respect for you! I have read soo much of your stuff in my dealings with Hot2pot and I rememember when she got her Marans.I think it was.

Yeah she got some of my very first, well FIRST BCM. She and I also split the Lavenders and Black Ams I bought. It was not a project I was expecting but a local needed to sell her flock ASAP and I asked Deb if she wanted some the birds so we kinda split them she took some of the Lavs/Splits/Blacks and Wheatens too.

BTW you can run Blue and Black Coppers together, but some prefer to have it like you have it. I am work toward that.... but we will see. If you have some questions you can PM I will help if I can.

Maran before seperation...you see my blue copper hens and a black pullet all are still pretty young they have HAD filled out so nice till molt time... YUCK! the cuckoos have been sold. that blue copper cockrel was culled.


you can see the color on this hens hackles...she has a lot of copper now....
