I just put 11/12 black jersey giants into lockdown today... Only lost one, and I think that's because I managed to drop it when putting it in the turner...

I am headed out to the bitter cold to secure all animals and give extra feed. We are expecting snow tonight so need to get chores done and extra stuff I needed to do.

just know for those that may have questions, I can send the first eggs either in the next 2 weeks or in spring just leave a note if you are wanting spring or a bit later!

Not until I have multiple hens laying consistently. Right now i really only have 1 hen of each breed laying.
