Avian Influenza. It's a test that's done by swabbing the bird's mouth. Here is VA it's only done by a Ag Dept person, and has to be done every 6 months. That's why I know Kym so well, she's here twice a month. And if I sell birds at a WV swap, she has to come out and test again, 'cause WV insists it be done within 10 days of the sale.

The way I understand it, the sender must be NPIP within the last 12 months, and AI within the last 6 months.    The easiest way to check is to email [email protected]     She's my contact at the Dept of Ag in Harrisonburg and she'd know if the rules have changed.
