PayPal question

I was wondering... if a person accepts PayPal, and somebody pays them through PayPal using a credit card, does PayPal and the credit card company both take a percentage?

the only person I had take a percentage of mine was ebay. and that was just the "ebay fees" for the auction

I do credit card sales in multiple ways and use PayPal virtual terminal. When it is just PayPal, they take a percentage. Sales from Etsy, both Etsy & PayPal take a percentage. PayPal also has a monthly fee, where Etsy charges to list an item.
