I have no idea what thread to post this under so I'm asking it here.

Does anyone know how long Paypal usually takes to notify you that someone is sending you money? I have a few people ordering eggs and it seems like it has been a long time and I still haven't received any notifications or payments.

It usually takes about 30 mins if they alreay have a paypal but if they don't it can take up 3-4 buisness days. :/ that's one of the reasons I don't like to use paypal not to mention if you are a new seller they hold your money for up to 21 days. :/

geez, I wonder if there is some way I can know what's the case with mine. I have a verified account and have had it for 5+ years but I have only ever used it to SEND money, never to receive, until now.

Surely if someone was going to send money it would a least notify me, even if there is some kind of weird hold on it. That way I could know that they've made a payment...I dont see any notices on my account saying they're going to hold anything for 21 days....I hope they dont!

I think it only goes with first time users like me. Did you send the people an invoice? If so you should see a thing under your recent account activity and it'd either read pending or paid.

I did send an invoice. It says pending. I guess I'll just be patient and see if it goes through

Do you know if the other people had paypal accounts prior to paying for the invoice? Because if they didn't and are using their debit/credit/ or paypal card it can take up to 3-4 buisness days to go through. Usually by the second day it clears for me.
