PCV Feeder with Dustpan

PVC pipe makes a great feeder and there are several variations on yours. Good job by the way-I never would have thought of the dustpan! Here's the one I made and we love it. It doesn't take up all the room of a regular feeder, but cost almost as much, LOL.

We have two, one for grit and one for calcium.

Okay, fellow PVC feeder users...what am I doing wrong? I have one (don't have a pic but can get one & post tomorrow) that I use for crumble, and it never seems to flow into the bottom/bowl part. I have to sort of pull it out or poke a stick in, and then it'll all flow into the bowl. Any ideas?
